After many years Sandra rediscovers Lebanon - summer 2018

Sandra, Argentinian, but of Lebanese descent, chose Baalbek, essential for all our friends of "Experience YOUR Lebanon". We could admire it again and again.

We are at Propylaeum, the majestic entrance of the temples.

You feel so tiny compared to the gigantic monoliths and columns.

Much more than guides ... we become friends.

Still wondering how the romans did  transport such huge stones almost 2000 years ago?

The Pregnant Woman's Stone, the largest cut stone in the world

And before going to dinner, we visited the ruins of the Neptune Temple, built next to the source of Baalbek.

And the magic Mosque of Sayyida Khaula - with the mausoleum of the great granddaughter of the Prophet Muhammad - a masterpiece of Persian architecture

And finally a delicious dinner by the Berdawni river in Zahle. Who can still have some fruit after all this food????
